Witness sa Kaso ni Dacera, Ibinunyag na May Dalang 'Powder Drugs' ang mga Guest sa Room 2207

Christine Dacera has finally been laid to rest on January 10, but until now, the battle to find out the truth about her death is still ongoing. Law enforcement authorities were already investigating Dacera’s death, as they suspect foul play may be involved. The lifeless body of the 23-year-old flight attendant was found in a hotel in Makati, and her cause of death was listed as ruptured aortic aneurysm.

Dacera and her friends were checked in at Room 2209 on New Year’s eve at the City Garden Grand Hotel, but as seen on the CCTV footage, they also visited the guests in Room 2207.

Dacera and her friends were seen mingling with the occupants of the other room, so authorities were also looking to identify them in order to shed light on this matter.

In his sworn statement, one of Dacera’s friends, JP dela Serna, said that the people in 2207 used illegal drugs. According to Dela Serna, a certain Mark Anthony Rosales, who was one of the occupants in Room 2207, has brought a powdered drug which he allegedly slipped into Dacera’s drink.

“May ipinakita si Mark Anthony Rosales habang kami ay nag-iinuman na may dinukot siya sa kanyang medyas at ipinakita sa amin ang isang powder drugs na nakabalot sa plastic at inaya po niya akong gumamit nito ngunit hindi ako pumayag,” says Dela Serna in his sworn statement to the police.

If this allegation is proved, it confirms the earlier statement of Dacera to one of her friend, Valentine Rosales. According to Rosales, hours before Christine was found dead, she told him that Mark Anthony has put something on her drink.

Authorities are still trying to determine the guest list in Room 2207. According to National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Brigadier General Vicente Danao Jr., the hotel management possibly faces obstruction of justice charges if they will refuse to provide the name of the guests.
