Raising children is not easy, especially if you’re a single mom. This is exactly what happened to Joy Reyes, the former partner of actor Jomari Yllana. The Paranaque councilor had two children with Reyes, but the two have already separated. But unlike other couples who are effectively co-parenting, Jomari and Joy are struggling. Earlier this week, Reyes called out the father of her child for allegedly neglecting them.
Reyes took to social media to share her struggles in raising their two kids. She shared a photo of their electric bill worth more than P100,000.
According to Reyes, this is months worth of unpaid electric bills which are yet to be settled by Yllana. She also described Yllana’s negligence as ‘sickening.’

“Honorable councilor of District 1 Paranaque Jomari Yllana, his children are sweating in the dark and this is making it worse for Fangio who’s been having fever for a few days now.
So many other issues of abuse that I’m trying so hard not to mind for the time being, but directly harming the babies this way can’t be tolerated.”
Reyes also claimed that their children, who were all under three years old, were struggling without electricity. In addition to that, she also accused Yllana of failing to pay for child support.

They cannot settle their differences because Yllana has also proceeded to block her on all social media platforms.
Yllana denied the allegations, and also shifted the blame towards the mother of his children. He responded to a netizen on Instagram by questioning Reyes’ true capability in providing for their kids.
“Sana ginamit din ang isip paminsan-minsan. Nakakapag post sa Facebook, nakapag picture sa cellphone. May charge ang cellphone at may internet. Oh diba, naputulan ng kuryente pero nakakapag post at meron internet. Sana ol,” wrote Yllana on Instagram.
