Thanks to e-commerce apps, online shopping has never been easier! These days, you can order just about anything online in just a few clicks. By using Lazada or Shopee, you can order items even from overseas, and have them delivered right at your doorstep. But this convenience also comes at a cost, especially when you’re facing an unexpected and expensive order!
This mother from Bohol province was in for the shock of her life after receiving a huge package from Shopee. The rider informed her that her order of an expensive motorcycle toy has already arrived.
The woman was shocked, as she did not remembering ordering such thing online. But the rider insisted that the item was listed under her name and address.
The confused woman asked her family members if any of them placed the order. Her young son, Nathan, admitted placing the order on Shopee himself!
Nathan, who was only three years old, was already proficient in using a mobile phone that he managed to order a rechargeable electric motorcycle just in time for Christmas without the knowledge of his mother.
His mother was shocked, but seeing as how the item has already arrived, they had no other choice but to accept it. The rechargeable motorcycle was expensive, but they have no other choice but to pay for it as it’s cash-on-delivery. The photos of delivery became viral on social media.
Meanwhile, many netizens reacted on this incident. Some of them were amused with Nathan’s ability to order his toy online. However, some of them blamed the mother for not properly supervising her son’s activity online.
Indeed, this expensive incident would have been avoided only if Nathan were not able to access the app. On the other hand, some netizens were also dubious with this story. Check out some of their comments below:
