Is Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay dating? This is the question that has been bugging many fans after seeing the photos of the two stars. Earlier this week, actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared photos from her exclusive dinner part on Instagram. Among her guests were Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay, including John Estrada. But many netizens were intrigued because Ellen and Derek looked intimate in most of the photos.
In her IG stories, Ruffa shared a photo of Derek and Ellen staring at one another, with the caption: “Walang malisya.” In addition to that, she also shared a photo of Ellen posing with Derek’s father, Derek Sr. in the same gathering, and claimed that they were already close. Could this mean that the two stars are dating?
A short clip also showed Derek and Ellen having fun while dancing and singing with one another. At some point, Ellen even tried to initiate a kiss with Derek. Meanwhile, in a selfie video of Ruffa, both Derek and Ellen exchanged “I love you’s” in front of the camera.
While some netizens are convinced that the two were indeed dating, some think otherwise. As you may well know, Ellen has an upcoming sitcom with John Estrada in TV 5. Some netizens are saying that this is all just a promotion for Ellen’s upcoming role in “John En Ellen.”
In a previous interview, Ellen Adarna finally revealed the true cause of her break-up with John Lloyd Cruz. According to Ellen, during that time, she was struggling with her own mental health problems that affected their relationship.
The actress admitted that she projected her unresolved issues on John Lloyd, which eventually led to their separation.
“Because I had so many issues na hindi pa na-resolve, I was projecting it on him. I can say I’m 100% okay. I feel my environment changed. Like his approach to me, my relationship with him has changed without asking him to change. So I was just really the problem. How I viewed it, my thinking pattern was the problem.”
