Most overseas Filipino workers dream of having a fair and kindhearted employer. Indeed, if you found yourself at the hands of a kind and generous employer, consider yourself lucky! This is especially true for OFWs who work at the Middle East, because there have been many cases of abuse involving OFWs there. But this Pinay worker won the lottery after being placed with a generous employer!
Che Borres shared her inspirational story on Facebook. She has been working as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia for more than two years now.
But during that short span of time, she has already visited five countries! Her generous employer always tags her along in their international travels.

According to Che, she’s grateful for having a kind employer. Back when she was still a kid in the Philippines, Che only dreamed of going to places such as London. But now, here dreams are finally a reality! Che has toured European countries, with all expenses paid for by her kindhearted boss.
“Dati nilalaro lang namin ang “London Bridge” noong elementary days pa, di ko akalain na akin pala itong maapakan at mapupuntahan. Ang larong iyon ay naging totoo, nakita ko kung paano mahati ang tulay. Naapakan, kumain, doon nakatulog at nalibot ang limang cities nang Germany, nakatulog sa Amsterdam, kumain sa Dubai at natulog sa Bahrain.”
When she left the Philippines, she was only hoping to have a decent boss, so you can just imagine Che’s happiness when she found a boss who also treated her like family. She also advised her fellow OFWs to not give up hope, after all, not Arab employers are cruel and heartless.
“Saudi lang ang nasa kontrata ko pero halos nalilibot ko na ang buong mundo. Kaya sa mga nagsabi na tampalasan ang mga Arabo, nope! ‘Wag lahatin kasi ako saksi ako mismo. Gaya din sila sa ating mga Pilipino,may salbahi.
“Kung ikaw may mabait na amo, swerte ka talaga at mahalin mo sila na parang pamilya mo dahil swertehan lang tayong mga nag-aabroad. Salamat po!”
