Earlier this week, many netizens talked about Derek Ramsay’s New Year dinner in his home. Derek’s star-studded dinner party was attended by many stars, including seasoned actors John Estrada and Rufa Gutierrez. Actress Ellen Adarna was also present. But did you know that another star was invited to the party? Kris Aquino was among the guest list, but unfortunately, she was not able to make it.
The “Queen of All Media” is a known social person, so when she was absent during Derek’s dinner party, many people were left wondering.
What could have been the reason behind Kris’ no-show? According to a report in Bandera, her health has prevented Kris from attending the said event.
When she received the invitation, Kris was thrilled to attend. Unfortunately, she suffered from health problems at the same day of the event, which is why she couldn’t go. Since her eldest, Kuya Josh, was in Nueva Ecija, Kris decided to send her youngest son Bimby to the party instead.
On Instagram, Kris shared a photo of Bimby having fun at the gathering. Apparently, Bimby revealed that he had fun talking with Derek, since he has been a friend of his mom for almost 16 years.
She also revealed the reason why she missed all the fun, citing her persistent health problems.
“Bimb and I were supposed to have dinner w/ the Ramsay family last weekend. Unfortunately the unpredictability of my autoimmune manifestations (migraine, the chronic spontaneous urticaria, and the fatigue) struck and as much as I wanted to and tried to, I just couldn’t make myself get out of bed.”
On the other hand, during the dinner party, Derek and Ellen made noise on social media following their intimate photos together. They immediately quashed the rumors and claimed that they were only good friends.
