As you may well know, a nuptial ceremony will not be complete without a wedding singer. But the talent fee of professional singers does not come cheap.
This groom was looking forward in having a grand wedding, but he made the mistake of bargaining too much when it comes to his wedding singer.
A netizen named Patricia shared her frustrating experience with this groom. Patricia is a well known singer who has competed in the TV program “I Can See Your Voice.” One day, a man messaged her asking if she can sing on their wedding day.
Much to Patricia’s surprise, the groom asked her if she can sing twenty songs! Singing in a wedding is an exhausting job, especially if you have twenty songs lined up.
But what surprised the singer is when the groom asked her to do it for free.
“Okay lang bang free na lang? Jusko naman ineng, kakanta ka lang naman. Pakakainin ka naman namin sa reception,” says the man. As you may well expect, Patricia declined the offer. She then shared their conversation on Facebook.
“Sa totoo lang ang daming beses ko na na-encounter yung may magppm sakin na hindi ko kilala pero nirefer ng kakilala ko ganon! Tapos kukunin sa ganito ganyan pero ngayon lang ako naka encounter ng ganitong tao,” says Patricia.
Her post immediately went viral on social media, and many netizens also shared their similar experience.
