Earlier this week, a sad news has graced the radio program “Wanted sa Radyo.” An overseas Filipino worker, who was due for repatriation, has passed away while she was on the way to the Philippines. Leonida Morales, who is suffering from a disease, asked help from Raffy Tulfo. Morales said that she wanted to come home to her family in the Philippines.
Morales and her relatives appealed to the broadcaster to help send her back home. According to Morales, she’s getting weaker and weaker every day due to her disease. She also can’t afford treatment in Saudi Arabia due to high expenses.

Many netizens were looking forward to a positive update of this case. However, just recently, Tulfo’s staff revealed that the OFW has already passed away. According to the staff reporter, Morales has succumbed to her disease while she was on her way back to the Philippines.
What’s more heartbreaking is the fact that she didn’t even get the chance to spend more time with her family again. During her conversation with Tulfo, Morales claimed that she’s excited to see her loved ones. Even Raffy Tulfo couldn’t help but feel emotional after hearing the news.
According to the staff, during Morales’ flight, she promised that she will be updating them with her whereabouts. However, later on, the RTIA reporter found out that she passed away en route to the Philippines.
“Mabigat rin po sa loob ko, hindi po natin inaasahan na ‘yun po ang mangyayari dahil noong kausap ko pa po si ma’am sabi ko po sa kanya ay update niyo po ako once na nakalapag kayo, nagme-message din po kami sa kanya. Tapos ngayon noong tumawag po samin sa mga staff na yun po ang nangyari, nakikiramay po kami.”
In light of this devastating news, Raffy Tulfo promised the grieving family that they will work to get the benefits of their late mother from her employer.
