Ninong, Napuno! Pinagsabihan ang Kumareng Demanding na Nagreklamo sa Pamasko na Natanggap ng Anak Niya

In the Philippines, giving ‘aguinaldo’ during the Christmas season is a popular tradition. Days before Christmas, kids are already looking forward in visiting the houses of their godparents, hoping to receive a gift. Kids will appreciate any gift they receive, whether it’s big or small. But in some instances, it’s their parents who are often demanding about receiving aguinaldo.

One godparent became tired of his demanding ‘kumare.’ Netizen Raevin Amante Bonifacio shared his experience after having a frustrating conversation with the mother of his unofficial godchild.

He also called out other demanding parents who does not appreciate the efforts of godparents during Christmas time.

Raevin first chatted his kumare, telling her that his ‘pamasko’ is already waiting for his godson. However, after receiving the angpao, the mother immediately chatted Raevin. Instead of being appreciative, she claimed that her son was sad because of the amount he received, to which the ninong replied with:

Turuan mo anak mo be na maging thankful. Baka mamaya be yung parents yung hindi masaya?”

Many godparents who also had a similar experience shared their sentiments on social media. In addition to that, Raevin also called out some demanding parents, asking them to teach their kids to be grateful.
