Earlier this week, many fans were shocked when Buboy Villar and Angillyn Gorens announced their break up to the public. The announcement was first made by Gorens, who claimed that they have been separated since 2018. This news came as a shock to the netizens, because all along, they thought that the couple was going strong. Buboy and Angillyn have two young kids together.
According to Angillyn, their break-up was a mutual decision. As of now, they decided to focus on their separate lives while still co-parenting for the sake of their children.

Angillyn is back in the United States working, while their kids Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael are staying with her parents in the Philippines. Meanwhile, Buboy is also pursuing his showbiz and vlogging career here in the Philippines and often visits their kids.
Shortly after Angillyn spoke out, the Kapuso actor also aired his side. In an exclusive interview with GMA News, Buboy Villar confirmed Angillyn’s revelation. In spite of their separation, Villar claimed that they are both in good terms with one another.
“Siguro dapat talagang malaman din ng iba kasi nga ayaw ko rin naman na parang nai-stress nga si Angillyn kasi nga ang daming nagtatanong. Although hindi naman din siya masyadong ma-social media kasi nga ganun yung buhay nya don,” says Buboy, explaining why they finally chose to reveal their separation to the public.
Furthermore, he claimed that they are currently focused in their personal growth. The two are also in good terms with one another in order to make their co-parenting set up work.
“At mahalaga naman doon, maayos kaming dalawa at napag-uusapan namin yung mga anak namin na pinakaimportante sa amin sa lahat ng bagay. Ngayon magkaibigan naman po kami,” added the former child actor.
Meanwhile, some netizens speculated that there might be a third party involved that led to their break-up. In Angillyn’s public Facebook profile, she often shares her selfies with a new mystery guy. Could this be her new boyfriend? As of now, both Angillyn and Buboy are yet to confirm these rumors.
