Throughout the years, Raffy Tulfo has resolved many cases of injustice in his radio program “Wanted sa Radyo.” But perhaps one of the most memorable cases is the heartbreaking story of this Pinay housemaid. In February 2020, Rhea Tubia sought help from Tulfo to bring to justice her heartless employer. Rhea used to work as a housemaid to Trifona Selma, who lives in Cavite.
Rhea and her mother, Nanay Angelina, were both from Cebu. They knew Trifona so when she offered them a job in Cavite, they accepted her offer. However, Trifona’s true colors were soon revealed. Aside from bing verbally abusive, she also physically abused the mother and daughter.

During their visit in the studio, Rhea revealed all of the bruises and marks in her body. While in tears, Rhea explained their hellish experience at the hands of their heartless employer.
She claimed that Trifona often starved them, and even beat her with several blunt objects whenever she’s angry. Even Raffy Tulfo, who was known for his undaunted personality, couldn’t help but cry after hearing the horrific abuse.
The host also pledged that he will do everything in his power to help the family attain justice.
Finally, just this October, Rhea and her mother has gotten closure. Rhea and her mother was accompanied by an RTIA reporter to the police station in Dasmarinas, Cavite. They filed a case of serious illegal detention against their former employer.
Rhea also claimed that they will not stop until they finally gain justice. While the case is ongoing, Tulfo also made a promise to Rhea and her mom that he will keep on helping them.
