This Pinay flight attendant named Jen Barangan became an internet sensation recently after her Tiktok videos went viral. Soon enough, even people from all over the world were trying to participate in her duet challenge on Tiktok.
The coronavirus pandemic has hit a lot of industries hard, but the airline and travel industry was among those who were badly affected.
Because of this, most airline companies had to let go some of their employees. Jen, the flight attendant Tiktok sensation, was among the workers who had to be laid off due to the pandemic.
In her latest video, Jen broke the news to her fans. We’re used to seeing her cheerful personality in her clips, but this time, she was emotional.
According to Jen, during her 14-day quarantine, she was so anxious and lonely because she has no one else to talk to.
Jen revealed that she found out about the news when someone accidentally sent her an email. During that time, she was still alone in quarantine, which is why the news came as a shock to her.
“And that was the time that I need a hug from someone but it’s not possible because I’m all alone. I feel alone during that time. I couldn’t possibly share it with my family because I know they’ve been through a lot and knowing I am the breadwinner,” shares Jen in her vlog.
As expected, many netizens couldn’t help but sympathize with the flight attendant. As of writing, her vlog has already reached more than 2.1 million views on Youtube.
