A few weeks after the untimely passing of vloggers Emman Nimedez and Lloyd Cadena, another online influencer passed away. Gelson Bagatua, a well-known vlogger and social media influencer from Dumaguete City, passed away after being involved in a fatal car accident. Gelson’s family members and fans expressed their sadness and shock on social media.
According to law enforcement authorities, the road mishap occurred along the national highway in Barangay Villareal, Bayawan City in Negros Oriental. The three other passengers sustained minor injuries and survived the crash. However, Gelson later on succumbed to his injuries.

“RIP Gelson Bagatua. We were shocked and could hardly believe that you are gone so soon. We still had so much plans to make video content together in the future. You will surely be missed. Thank you so much for the fun memories that you shared. It will remain in our hearts forever. May you now rest in the permanent home that God has prepared for you.”
The social media influencer passed away at only 24 years of age. Duma is well-loved and well-respected by his followers due to his videos that inspire many people. He’s also a hardworking student of Dumaguete Silimannian.
Due to his untimely passing, his loved ones, friends, and fans were still in shock. They were not expecting that their beloved Gelson will be taken away from them so soon. He is remembered as a kind and supportive person who always finds a way to inspire other people.
As of writing, Gelson Bagatua has more than 40,000 followers on his official Facebook account. He has also has more than 10,700 subscribers on Youtube. He shares videos about his day-to-day life featuring his girlfriend.
