Ivana Alawi is one of the fastest-rising stars in the Philippine showbiz industry today. The 23-year-old actress rose to popularity for her sultry selfies on Instagram. But aside from her pretty face and charisma, fans have also grown to admire Ivana for her kindness and generosity. Ivana is never afraid to show her true personality in her vlogs.
However, it seems like not all people agree with this. There are some people who believed that Ivana might not be who she truly seems. Among them is her former friend, who recently spoke out against the popular vlogger. In a video, Jeline claimed that she used to be friends with Ivana Alawi, also known as Mariam before.
According to Jeline, Ivana has been her long-time friend even before she became famous. The two had a lot of memories together, and Jeline even looked back in the experiences that they shared. But when she finally made it big in showbiz, Jeline was shocked to see that Ivana’s attitude started to change.
In her open letter, Jeline claimed that she witnessed how Ivana persevered as a breadwinner for her family. Back in the days, Ivana has always wanted to make it big in showbiz in order to provide a better life for her family. But when Ivana became famous, Jeline accused her of cutting ties with their group of friends.
Aside from unfriending all of them on social media, the young star allegedly ignores their messages as well.
“Iva-na ang name kakambal nun Iva-na rin dapat lahat? Iva-na dapat pag uugali, balita ko pa hindi ka na nagrereply ni isa samin pala? I am proud of your achievements, but I am not proud of who you’ve become,” says Jeline.
To back up her claims, Jeline also provided photos of her and Ivana back when they were still close. According to Jeline, she was deeply hurt when Ivana threw away their friendship over fame. On the other hand, as of writing, the 23-year-old star is yet to comment on this.
