Amid the pandemic, expecting a baby is truly a blessing. Back in May, former actress Assunta de Rossi revealed that she is expecting her first child! Prior to that, Assunta had been married with her politician husband Jules Ledesma for more than 16 years. It took a lot of prayers and patience before the couple were finally blessed with their baby.
Before getting pregnant, Assunta revealed that she has many complications which impedes her pregnancy. Aside from having myoma, Assunta was also diagnosed with endometriosis. That being said, only a medical or miracle intervention is truly their hope in having a baby.

Finally, in May, Assunta happily announced that she’s pregnant! Many fans rejoiced and can’t wait to meet her baby. In a latest Instagram post, Assunta shared that she’s only a few days away before she gives birth to her miracle baby, which she named Fiore:
“Another check-up today. Si Fiore as usual, nagtatago na naman. Naku maldita! It’s OK. Pretty soon, I’ll see her face-to-face. I’ve waited for her almost 20 years, ano ba naman yung ilang araw pa? I love you, my tiny bloom,” she wrote.
Despite her health complications, Assunta is grateful that her baby is healthy and well. According to her IG post, Baby Fiore is very active even inside the womb.
“Today was check-up day. It’s tough to be experiencing shortness of breath, pregnancy rhinitis plus I’m claustrophobic pa. Mabuti at napakabait ni bagets, hindi ako binibigyan ng problema. Ang swerte-swerte ko!!! Everything’s good, kaya smile pa rin! Konti na lang.”
