“Wowowin” host Willie Revillame was once again cursed at by a caller in live television! During the “Tutok to Win” segment which aired on October 13, Kuya Wil called a 17-year-old contestant named Glaiza. At first, she thought he was a scammer and cursed at him. Shocked with the caller’s hostility, Willie joked that he will drop the call: “Oh sige, bye bye!”
As he continued talking with Glaiza, he eventually convinced her that she is on live TV.
“Walang hiya ka, minura mo ako, si Kuya Willie mo ito! Anong totoo? Totoo! Si Kuya WIllie mo ito! Bakit ka nagmumura? Bawal nagmumura. Nanonood ang buong mundo sa atin tapos nagmumura ka. Bawal magmura.”
After realizing her mistake, the 17-year-old caller profusely apologized to the host: “Akala ko kasi iba po.” Apparently, Glaiza mistook Kuya Wil for a scammer, since phone scams are widespread these days.
For his part, Kuya Wil remained a good sport and gave Glaiza her prize.
“Ikaw ba si Glaiza? Mag-sorry ka sa buong Pilipinas. Mahirap iyan, magagalit sa atin ang tao. O, huwag ka magmumura kahit sino kausap mo, ha. O, magsorry ka uli. Ako, ang payo ko lang sa mga natatawagan, kahit na may scam, e, huwag kayong nagmumura kasi kung totoo, paano iyan?”
On the other hand, this is not the first time that Willie Revillame had been cursed by a caller on live television. As you may well remember, the “Wowowin” host became a trending topic after a similar incident way back in May.
During that time, the caller thought that he was a scammer. In spite of the expletives he received, Willie remained a good sport.
After proving that he was indeed legit, Willie still gave the P10,000 prize to the caller. Their entire conversation was aired on national television, and many netizens found it hilarious.
