Some are lucky enough to stay in love even well into their old age. And among them is this elderly couple who went viral on social media.
Earlier this week, netizens can’t help but feel heartbroken over the sad ending of this couple’s love story. A netizen shared how this old man was found lifeless inside his residences just a few hours after his beloved wife passed away.
According to the viral post, the elderly man in the video was already 94 years old. Emergency services were called inside his own residence after he complained of discomfort and difficulty in breathing.
Earlier that morning, his wife also passed away around 7 a.m.
“Some kind of a rare emergency response wherein upon arriving at the scene, patient has no signs of life already. According to folks, male patient who is 94 years old complained of chest discomforts this morning after knowing that his wife is dead at 7am just this morning.”
Sadly, the old man was no longer resuscitated. When they came back around 10 a.m., he was already sitting at the dining table unresponsive. Beside him was his wife. According to witnesses, the elderly man looked calm and at peace when he passed away.
Some netizens speculated that the old man and his wife were destined to be with one another, which is why they also died only a few minutes apart.
This story also brought inspiration to many netizens, who believed that the couple were meant to be.
