Love is in the air! Celebrity stylist Liz Uy recently announced her engagement to newly-annulled businessman Raymond Racaza. Uy dropped the revelation by flaunting her shiny engagement ring on Instagram. However, her announcement gained mixed reactions from the netizens.
Liz Uy’s celebrity friends expressed their delight over this news. Among them were Isabelle Daza, whom gotten a personal message from Liz, thanking her for being their cupid.
Some of the celebrities who congratulated Liz were Luis Manzano, Mariel Padilla, Ellen Adarna, and Solenn Heussaff.
While Liz Uy’s engagement is a cause for celebration among their circle, other people see otherwise. Many netizens were not quite as delighted, and they relived the infamous love story of Liz and Raymond, which started way back in 2017.
Back then, Raymond was still married to his legal wife, Geraldine Zamora. However, his married status did not stop Liz Uy from continuing their illicit affair. The two eventually had a child, Xavi, even when Raymond was still married to Geraldine.
With that mind, many netizens compared Liz and Raymond’s affair to that of the Korean drama, “World of Married.” They also chastised Liz’s showbiz friends, who allegedly tolerated the affair despite knowing that Raymond was a married man.
