Caridad Sanchez is one of the most well-respected veteran actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry. For many years, this talented artist has starred in countless of films and soap opera. But due to her age, Caridad Sanchez is no longer active in showbiz. Recently, her daughter Cathy claimed that her mom is diagnosed with dementia.
Following this revelation, one of Caridad’s close friends, Lolit Solis, took to social media to express her sentiments. In her viral Instagram post, Lolit looked back on their fond memories in the past.

According to Lolit, back in the days when she was involved in a controversial scam, Caridad was one of the few showbiz personalities who reached out to her.
She offered support and words of wisdom to the talent manager. However, throughout the years, their friendship slowly faded.
“Buong araw ako na upset dahil sa pagbabalik ng alaala ng scam na ginawa ko nuon, at pagsisisi na sana kahit pa ayaw ng tumanggap ng calls ni Caridad Sanchez nagpilit pa rin ako para makausap siya at huwag mawala ang line of communication namin. Na upset ako iyon nagbigay ng parang second life ko, hindi na ako makikilala pag pinuntahan ko para kumustahin.”
In addition to that, there were times when Lolit claimed that she would call Caridad. However, the elderly actress will not pick up the phone and refused to talk to her. Lolit lamented the fact that she didn’t try hard enough to reach out to her old friend.
“Tutoo nga iyon sinasabi nila, show your love now, before it is too late, express it now, say it. So sad na hindi ko nagawa, pero alam ko like nuon na tumawag siya sa akin, that special bond between us hindi naputol. Tutoo rin na kahit ano pa mangyari sa buhay mo, kahit isang tao lang maniwala at magmahal sa iyo, sapat na iyon para makatayo kang muli.”
