Raffy Tulfo has been in the public service for more than 20 years now. Throughout the years, the 60-year-old host has seen almost everything in his program “Wanted sa Radyo.” Through his program, Raffy has helped countless of people and changed their lives for the better. That being said, if ever he retires, we’re sure that a lot of people will miss the broadcaster.
Recently, Tulfo revealed that his cardiologist has been worrying about his health. As a matter of fact, he was allegedly advised to retire from his work. As you may well know, Tulfo’s work can be stressful and exhausting most of the time.

Raffy’s cardiologist has been observing his program for quite some time now. He also witnessed how the host can be agitated sometimes due to the complainants. According to the doctor, sudden bouts of anger may trigger a heart attack for Raffy, whose heart is already suffering from some complications.
“One of my cardiologists called me up, kung pwede mag retire na raw ako. Stop ko raw muna itong ginagawa ko dahil napakinggan at napanood niya yung estilo ng programa ko. Sabi niya, eventually baka tamaan ka sa puso,” shared Tulfo.

In spite of this, Tulfo insisted on continuing his public service for the people. According to Raffy, even though it’s stressful, he loves his job because it allows him to help others in need. He also shared how he manages stress in his work.
“Kailangan may pagmamahal ka sa iyong trabaho kasi kapag mahal na mahal mo ang trabaho mo, kahit mahirap pa iyan, kahit gaano kakumplikado yan, at least nakakabawas yung stress ng job na ‘yon because you love it.”
From the looks of it, it seems like Tulfo’s retirement will not come anytime soon. However, due to his condition, Tulfo needs to find ways to be ease his stress in his show for the sake of his work.
