Some of the noticeable changes in her face include her nose and her facial shape. This prompted rumors that the Kapamilya singer had undergone plastic surgery.
In a recent interview, the former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” champion did not deny her plastic surgery rumors. Instead, she told people to ‘accept change’ for the sake of their happiness. And while she did not specifically reveal it, many fans took this as a confirmation that she did have plastic surgery to change her nose and facial shape.

“I think that’s what everyone should keep in mind na we shouldn’t be afraid of change na puwede tayong mag-change. Na if there’s something you don’t like about yourself and that you are not happy about it then you can do something. Do something to make yourself happy. You only live once, hindi ba? Just do things that will make you happy.”
With her new looks, Janine also discovered her newfound happiness and confidence. According to the 18-year-old singer, whenever she’s looking at her new photos and videos now, she can’t help but feel happier and more confident.
“Kasi kapag hindi ka masaya sa sarili mo, magre-reflect. Kasi nakikita ko rin sa mga post ko rati mga videos ko parang nakikita ko rin kung gaano ako ka-self conscious. Now when I look at my photos now, when I look at all the videos I take, parang ang saya ko.”
On the other hand, netizens were divided with Janine’s transformation. While some netizens preferred her old image, many fans are happy to see that the singer is finally gaining confidence.
