Earlier this week, many netizens were enraged over the lengthy video of a standoff between a family and frontliners. The said video was shared on Facebook which immediately gained divided reaction online. A few days after the incident, one of the said family members, Christian Carabeo, decided to take their case to Raffy Tulfo.
The incident occurred in Brgy. Sabutan, Silang, Cavite. According to Brgy. Chairman Rodel Dacara, two members of the household tested positive for coronavirus. As part of protocols, the other household members should be tested. Instead of complying to the frontliners’ protocols, the family insisted on having a shouting match.

In a viral video, several members of the family can be seen yelling at the frontliners. Several of them came out of the door to argue with the nurses. They refused to undergo swab testing despite being tagged as people under investigation.
“Nurse, ano dapat ang advice niyo sa patient? An ang dapat naming gawin? Ang kailangan namin, medical assistance. Ang kailangan namin assurance. Ikaw taga video ka, siguruhin mong ilabas yan ha! Ilabas mo yan sa social media.
Because of this squabble, the frontliners were stuck outside the house for hours. This isn’t an easy task, especially since throughout that time, the frontliners were all wearing their personal protective equipment. Instead of devoting their time to other patients, they wasted many hours in trying to convince the family.
Yet instead of siding with the complainants, Raffy Tulfo couldn’t help but feel irate over them. According to the broadcaster, the process would have gone on smoother if only they have followed the frontliners’ advice. Check out the full interview below.
