According to the former journalist, the 23-year-old actress is currently pregnant with Gerald’s baby. But just how true are these claims?
Shortly after the rumors spread on social media, the actor posted a cryptic message on Instagram. On his IG stories, Gerald Anderson said: “Congratulations to me.” Aside from this, the actor did not mention any details about the alleged pregnancy. This got many people thinking if Jay Sonza was indeed right.

“Congratulations sa aking kapitbahay sa Congressional Village, Bahay Toro, Quezon City. Napatunayan nina Visoy (visayan tisoy) Gerald Anderson at anak nina Dennis Padilla at Marjorie na si Julia Barreto na kapuwa hindi sila baog. After months of love lockdown and ESQ (exact sex quadrant) – may nabuo sa sinapupunan ni Julia,” says Sonza.
However, Julia was the first to quash these rumors. To settle the matter once and for all, the Star Magic actress uploaded the most recent photo of her. Instead of stooping down to Sonza’s level, Julia let her fans decide what’s really true.
Julia Barretto defended herself from these false rumors spreading online. On Instagram, the 23-year-old actress shared a photo of herself showing her flat tummy. Although she did not give a lengthy explanation to her fans, she debunked the rumors with a two-word caption that reads: “FAKE NEWS.”
On the other hand, many fans were not delighted with Sonza’s fake news. On social media, some netizens are urging Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson to file a legal action against the former journalist on the grounds of defamation.
