Philippine showbiz industry has a lot of dark secrets hidden beneath the glitz and glam. Only celebrities and showbiz insiders truly know what happens behind the camera. Since competition in the limelight is tough, most newbies in the industry are willing to do anything to advance their career. Some seasoned directors and producers take advantage of this fact.
Earlier this week, Philstar published a blind item pertaining to an infamous director and producer. Allegedly, the director preys on young actors who are just building up their career in showbiz. He offers them irresistible projects, in exchange of taking them to bed.

Some actors, naïve of the consequences, take the bait. In their mind, being on the good side of this renowned director will help their career. But not all are willing to lay their self on the line for the sake of an offer. According to the blind item, a popular hunk actor refused the director’s offer.
The said offer was for the lead role in an upcoming project. During that time, the actor was the next big thing on showbiz. He was the product of a talent search, and many producers want to get their hands on this versatile talent. The infamous director was one of them, but his advances were rejected because the hunk actor knows his reputation.
Among his conquests were another actor from a reality search and a hunk matinee idol. The former allegedly agreed to go to bed with the director, on the strict condition that he will covet the lead role in his latest project.
On the other hand, the matinee idol seemed undazed at first glance. He was macho, and his manliness drove away many producers who thoguht he was straight. But for the right price, he willingly went to the bed with the director in this blind item.
