Fans are mourning the loss of another talented star this 2020. On the early morning of August 16, Pinoy vlogger Emman Nimedez passed away after a few months of battle with a terminal illness. In a post on his Facebook page, Emman’s loved ones informed his fans that he passed away peacefully at 1:00 a.m. at St Luke’s Medical Center. The popular vlogger was only 26 years old.
According to the post, Emman was with his family during his last moments. They also asked asked everyone to be respectful while the family is still grieving their loss. The funeral details will be announced in the several days.

“He was with his family during the time of his passing at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City. Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support. Funeral details will be announced in the next days. We hope everyone will respect the family’s privacy to mourn the passing of Emman. Thank you.”
Prior to his passing, Emman was reportedly in a critical condition. He was rushed to the intensive care unit to receive immediate medical attention. According to his girlfriend, Peachy Santos, he was suffering from kidney failure and blood complications, which exacerbated his acute myeloid leukemia.
It was way back in May when Emman revealed that he’s battling with leukemia. At first, they thought it was COVID-19 due to the similarity in symptoms. In spite of his diagnosis, Emman pledged that he will continue fighting not only for himself, but also for his family and his loved ones.
“Ito na ‘yong pinakamatindi na laban na kakaharapin ko at sinasabi ko sa inyo ngayon, lahat ginagawa ko para manatiling matibay, maging handa at higit sa lahat, maging malakas kasi kailangan eh. Hayaan niyo lang akong isama kayo sa laban na ‘to para makita niyo lahat ng ibabato sa ating hamon, pagsubok, kakayanin. Basta diretso lang tingin natin sa buhay at tsaka positibo tayo.”
On the other hand, fans are also remembering the late vlogger. His last song, “Teka Lang,” was interpreted as a farewell message due to the lyrics: “Pabagalin muna natin ang ikot ng mundo.” As of writing, the said video has already garnered more than 19 million views on Youtube.
