The joys of motherhood are not limited with age. No matter how old or young a woman is, her heart will always be ready to share love and affection to her kids. Renowned host Korina Sanchez knows this too well, after having kids at the age of 54. Due to complications, the host and her husband, Mar Roxas, needed a surrogate mom for their adorable twins Pepe and Pilar.
In spite of their busy careers, the couple always make time for their twin toddlers. When it comes to taking care of the twins, Korina and her husband Mar Roxas make sure that they’re always hands-on. But the minor things such as laundry are left at the hands of their maids. Yet sometimes, Korina finds herself dabbling at some things, like their twins’ haircut.

Indeed, time flies so fast. It seems as if only yesterday when Korina was sharing her newborns’ milestones on Instagram. Now that they are already fast-growing, is Korina ready for another child? In an interview, the “Rated K” host claimed that she has four more embryos freeze for future use.
“She’s the one who’s most like to have children. Because I love kids. I love children. Bata pa lang ako parang nandoon na ako sa nursery ng Makati Medical Center tumitingin ng mga baby. So mahilig talaga ko sa bata. So I said wala pa akong boyfriend, wala pa akong asawa, magfi-freeze ako ng embryo ko,” says Korina, pertaining to her sister.

Before she even married Mar Roxas, Korina already made the decision to freeze her embryos. This way, they can just get a surrogate mom to go through in-vitro fertilization while carrying their baby. But for now, it seems like the host is contented with Pepe and Pilar.
According to Korina, her frozen embryos are just reserved in case they ever change their minds about having another kid. “I don’t know. Hello no, lola na ako. Grabe ka. Pepe and Pilar are already a handful. So I don’t know if I want more but I have four more embryos.”
