1. Marjorie Barretto incident
In 2013, fans were shocked after seeing the sensitive photos of Marjorie Barretto online. The former celebrity was quick to dispel the rumors, and insisted that she will never do anything to tarnish her reputation. In an interview, Marjorie denied being the woman in the photo: “No. That’s not me. I would never do something like that. That’s not my nature!”
2. Gretchen Barretto’s infidelity
Gretchen, the eldest of the Barrettos, is currently the live-in partner of business magnate Tony-Boy Cojuangco. However, due to their age gap, rumors spread that Gretchen had a string of affairs with younger men. In 2008, she was linked to actor John Estrada after they were caught kissing in a bar. In 2010, Gretchen’s name was dragged in the breka-up of Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban.

3. Claudine and Raymart fiasco
In 2013, Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago was going through a separation. During the custody battle of their children, Claudine posted photos online showing her bruised body, claiming she was a battered wife. However, the public is not so convinced with Claudine and even her sisters went against her and accused her of using illegal substance.
4. Claudine and Rico Yan
Rico Yan was Claudine’s ‘greatest love.’ When he died on 2002, the young actress mourned his loss. According to some showbiz insiders, Rico Yan became depressed when he found out that Claudine and Raymart has a relationship. This allegedly led to the actor’s untimely demise. In 2018, Claudine admitted that she went through depression following Rico’s passing.
5. Julia and Gerald
Julia Barretto is currently the most popular Barretto in showbiz. However, in 2019, the actress’ name was tarnished when her name was dragged into the break-up of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo. During those times, Julia’s own love team with Joshua Garcia also fell apart.
