Earlier this week, a shocking news rattled netizens on social media. Pinoy vlogger Emman Nimedez , who recently revealed that he has leukemia, was rushed to the hospital. The 27-year-old Youtube star needed immediate medical attention due to kidney failure and blood complication. On Friday, August 14, he was rushed to the intensive care unit after experiencing a fainting episode.
On his Facebook page, his girlfriend Peachy shared the vlogger’s current situation. According to Peachy, Emman’s family and close friends were present in the hospital when he was taken to the ICU last night. And although he can still understand them, Emman is too weak to even respond to their words.

“Hindi pa namin siya nakausap since kagabi. Bago po siya pinasok sa ICU kausap po namin siya kasama ang team payaman at mahal nya sa buhay and alam kong naririnig nya yun dahil tumatango po sya at nakahawak ng mahigpit sa kamay ko. Ngayon po ay critical condition nya at unstable.”
They also asked fans for support and financial assistance for Emman. As of now, they are still waiting for the doctor’s diagnosis and for Emman’s situation to get better.
It was way back in May 2020 when the vlogger revealed of his terminal illness. Much to the shock and worry of fans, Emman said that he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Initially, he thought that he might have contracted COVID-19 due to the similar symptoms. However, a later bone marrow test revealed that he has leukemia.
He started chemotherapy on June in the hopes of slowing the progress of the disease. He shared every part of his journey to his fans through his vlogs. According to Emman, even though he’s facing a life-threatening disease, he won’t stop fighting. He also asked for prayers and well wishes from his supporters online.
