Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas’ marriage is truly ‘couple goals.’ In a recent tell-all sessions with her fans, the “Rated K” host talked about her marriage with Mar Roxas. She also shared several juicy details about her love life before settling down. Much to the surprise of her fans, Korina Sanchez revealed that she was courted by a popular telenovela actor back in the days!
During her Instagram live, the host claimed that she’s enjoying motherhood with their twin babies, Pepe and Pilar. If given the chance, both Mar and Korina also wants to have more children in the future. Korina also shared that when it comes to money matters, they do not have any troubles since she’s financially independent.

“Hindi ako humihingi ng pera sa asawa ko. You should have your own money. Buy your own poison. Fund your own lifestyle,” says Korina. Apparently, before getting married, she suggested a pre-nup agreement to make sure they won’t have any problem in the financial department in the future.
In addition to that, Korina also shared her brief dating period with a well-known telenovela actor. Fernando Carillo, who was more popularly known for his role in “Rosalinda,” courted Korina in the past. Carillo is a Venezuelan actor who also worked alongside Thalia in their 1999 soap opera, which also aired in the Philippines.
However, Korina claimed that she was not ready for a relationship back there. After a single date, Korina admitted that she kept her distance, because she felt like she’s not yet ready to be committe din a serious relationship. Even though their romance did not work out, the two ended in good terms.
“We dated pero walang nangyari. Not even a kiss. Nothing, nakatakot ako. Fernando is such a darling but you have to be ready for him. Super gwapo, super sweet. Pero I really ran away from him. And he remembers that,” says Korina during her Instagram live.
