Remember Roxanne Guinoo? One of the graduates of Star Circle Teen Quest who lately became a successful together with her on screen partner, Joross Gamboa.
But unlike her other batch mates, Roxanne left the showbiz world when she married Angelo Elton Yap last 2011 and decided to focus more building a family with the latter.
The SCTQ alumna was only 24 while Yap was 21 when they decided to tie the knot, and up to date, the couple have 3 beautiful kids named Sophia, Reine and Reily.
According to the actress on her interview with Pep.ph last 2015, her main priority will always be her family.
She then said that ever since she had them, her entire life and how she views it changed
“Masaya ako noong nagkaanak ako. Iba talaga pag nagkaanak ka. Iba yung priorities mo.
“Eto naman [acting], bonus na sa akin ito.
“May agreement na kami ng husband ko [Fil-Chinese businessman Elton Yap].” Roxanne said when asked about her occasional TV appearances.
“Ako naman, choice ko yun na kung mabigyan ako ng mga blessings, trabaho, ayoko pa ring pabayaan yung pamilya ko, yung mga anak ko.
“Nabigyan na ako ng isa, makuntento na ako dun.
“Huwag na akong maghangad ng higit pa roon. At least, nagagampanan ko yung role ko bilang may asawa at nanay sa mga anak ko.” She added.
Roxanne also talked about her refusal to do kissing scenes now that has a mom. When asked whether the reason was something that might inflict her marriage, the actress simply explained that it was purely her choice.
“Kasi yung bawat bagay na ginagawa ko, namin, pinag-uusapan talaga naming mag-asawa.
“Nahahandle ko naman ito nang maayos. Napag-uusapan naman yung mga bagay-bagay.” Roxanne added.
