Despite of the COVID-19 crisis and all the struggles it comes after it, there are still compassionate people willing to give whatever they can just to help, volunteering, donating money and goods, creating masks and PPEs to ensure our frontliners’ safety. And because of them, who never get tired of sharing their blessings to others, people are more brave to work hand in hand until someday, we can beat this deadly virus already.
As what they always say, it is not the physical work that exhausts them but the people who does not seem grateful f or their little efforts instead.
And it was exactly this certain good samaritan experience from one of his supposed beneficiaries. Shiwen Lim, the owner of Sabrinacio Footwear is an entrepreneur who have developed a passion for helping others.
In fact, Sabrinacio Footwear’s official Facebook page that was once just a mere page for his shoe business became his platform for his vlogs that he uses to assist the less fortunate.
Because of the pandemic, Lim have noticed that aside from the food and PPEs, another essential goods the people, especially the mothers need are diapers and milk for their babies.
And that is what inspired Lim to buy bulks of milks and diaper to disseminate on mommies in dire need of it.
Keeping the public updated about the status of his project, his beneficiaries exactly knew that Lim have done buying the products and is now on the process of giving it away already.
One of his supposedly chosen to receive his assistance seemed not happy by the “slow” process of Lim and his staff and decided to call him out because of it.
The lady called Lim paasa just because of the latter’s post about the updates of the prior batch who have been donated already.
Disappointment and utterly hurt, Lim decided to share this ugly encounter and told his followers to always be patient with the people working their best just to give them something from their very own pockets.
