Isang Lolo Na Nagtatrabaho Sa Edad Na 68, Niregalohan Ng Isang Vlogger!

Reaching the dusk of life has different factors that somewhat scares an individual. Question like who is going to take care of them once they can not reach the floor anymore? Is there anyone who is willing to give them all their love and patience once they became childish and cranky?

Many senior citizen suffers a lot from workaholism withdrawal during their retirement age, that even leads them on going back to work just to avoid the feeling of not needed anymore, or to sustain their habit of being busy and earning money.

A 69 year old man, mostly called as “Tatay Bro”decided the same thing. After his 47 years of service in a Shell Ts Cruz station, a gas refill station in Zapote-Alabang, he still kept on going there everyday, wearing the same uniform but doing a lighter load of work.

According to Tatay Bro, he just misses the work and does not want to stay at home doing nothing.

Hearing this inspiring story, vlogger The Hungry Syrian Wanderer, Basel Manadil decided to pay him some visit.

And who would have thought that Basel was actually a frequently costumer of the branch when he was still in college? Recalling those moments where he had to visit there everyday, Basel said it was because he could only pay 50 pesos for a gas during those times.

And now that he has more than enough, Basel decided to share his blessings.

Aside from the 4 thousand pesos he gave Tatay Bro, he also gifted him and his families a sack of rice and some groceries.

“KALABAW LANG ANG TUMATANDA” indeed. ”
