Netizen, Inulan ng Batikos Online Matapos Punain ang Dalawang Riders na Ginawang 'Playground' ang Kalsada

Motorcycle riders look out for one another on the road. If one gets into trouble, you can expect that other riders will surely go out of their way just to offer help. Have you ever experienced any motorcycle troubles on the road? It is really a big hassle, especially if you have no one to help you. Fortunately, many kindhearted riders are willing to lend a helping hand.

But it seems like not all people are aware of this. Earlier this week, a netizen went viral for criticizing two motorcycle riders who are looking out for one another.

Nikki James Francisco, a doctor from Cebu, earned criticisms online after posting photos of two motorcycle riders whom he described as ‘playing’ in the middle of the road.

As seen on the photos, the two riders were riding alongside one another. One of the driver placed his foot on the other motorcycle. Francisco criticized the two for allegedly making the road a playground. He also claimed that it can cause accidents for other drivers on the road.

“Anong pauso na naman tong pinaggagawa ng mga to? Kelan pa naging playground ang highway? Nakakasagabal na sa ibang motorista. Yung sasakyan sa likod niyo hindi makaovertake dahil pasirko sirko pa kayo mag drive. Plus posibleng maaksidente pa ang iba!”

One netizen informed Francisco that this was a common practice between motorcycle riders. If for some reason your motorcycle won’t start, you can ask for help from other riders to get moving.

“Tawag dito samin yan gerero, gnagawa yan kapag walang gas or ayaw umandar ng motor,” one netizen commented.

On the other hand, after going viral, Francisco deleted his post and offered a public apology. He also called out his bashers and pleaded to other netizens to stop all the hate. But he still stood by his words that this practice could cause mishaps on the road.

“But seriously, cars behind the two who could not even overtake was starting to pile up because of their ‘manner of driving.’ If their vehicle had any problem, the motorists could have fixed them to also avoid inconvenience to others.”
