The entire nation was enraged at the shooting incident that killed two innocent mother and son in Paniqui, Tarlac earlier this week. A heated exchange between neighbors turned into a deadly encounter when a police officer fired four shots using his own firearm. The suspect in the horrific shooting was identified as Police Sergeant Jonel Nuezca from Paranaque Police Station.

However, it seems like not all people think that Nuezca should be punished for his crime. As a matter of fact, some netizens even defended the police officer and came that he was merely doing his job. Among those who defended Nuezca is a fellow police officer, who took to social media to share her sentiments
MJ Delfin sided with Nuezca, and claimed that she would have done the same if she was put in the same situation as Nuezca: “I don’t care eh eh eh malamang ganun din ginawa ko, tao lang ako. Babuyin mo na ako lahat wag mo lang sigawan anak ko, ewan na lang!”

Many people reacted on Delfin’s satement, including celebrity manager Ogie Diaz. On Facebook, Diaz addressed Delfin and chastised the police officer for siding with Nuezca.
“Wag kang OA, teh. Sinigawan lang ang anak mo, papatay ka na? Aba, kung ako naman ang anak, mas gugustuhin kong sigawan ako kesa babuyin ang nanay ko. So ano? Pag binulungan ko ba ang anak mo, me prize ba akong makukuha sayo?”
