Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon was put in hot water earlier this week following her ‘rude’ behavior towards “Hipon girl” Herlene Budol. As you may well know, recently, Miss Manila was one of the guest hosts in “Wowowin.” However, instead of a festive episode, the fans and audience were shocked when Hipon Girl and Miss Manila had a heated argument on air.
During their face off, Hipon Girl claimed that Miss Manila acted rudely towards her off-cam. Apparently, Miss Manila called her ‘squammy,’ and even joked that she might lose her career. This did not sit well with Herlene, who confronted Miss Manila with her rude comments toward her.

Instead of apologizing, Miss Manila insisted that she was only joking, and that Hipon Girl was ‘too sensitive.’ However, some netizens are also saying that Willie Revillame should also be held accountable for what went down. Instead of mediating between the two, Willie even shamed Hipon Girl for her outfit.
“Tignan mo ang suot niya, ganiyan ang mga suot ng nirerespeto! Tignan mo nga yang suot mo, kita na ang kaluluwa mo! Samantalang siya, yan ang dalagang Pilipina,” says Willie, to which Herlene replied with
“Ayy, ngayon ito na po ang uso pero hindi naman ito kabastos-bastos. Hindi ko naman ginagawa ito sa kalsada, Wil. Dito lang naman sa studio.”
Many netizens called out the host for allegedly perpetuating slut-shaming due to his statement. Some are even saying that they prefer Hipon Girl to Miss Manila any day, because of her humility and kindness. Check out some of their comments below:
