A mother’s love is unconditional. When her child gets into a sticky situation, any mother would be willing to step on the line to stand up for her kids. This is also the case with celebrity mom Jackie Forster, who is not afraid to defend her kids from any harm. Earlier this week, Forster replied to a basher who criticized her son, Kobe Paras.
On Instagram, Jackie shared a selfie of her son in his basketball uniform. The proud mother also promoted Kobe’s game in Bahrain as one of the players in Gilas Pilipinas.
However, it seems like not all people were impressed with Kobe, and one netizen called him “feeling sikat.”
Jackie inmediately defended her son from the rude netizen. According to Jackie, Kobe deserves the spotlight because he has worked so hard for it.
She also explained that Kobe has been putting a lot of hard work and has sacrificed a lot in order to get where he is now.
“You are just “an ordinary average guy” yes. And you will never be more. Why? Because of your mentality. Atleast anak ko mula bata palang binigay na nya oras, pagod and buhay nya para sa isang bagay na mahal nya, basketball- para sa bansa natin. Eh ikaw?”
In addition to that, Jackie also proudly claimed that Kobe has a lot of connections, mostly from people who truly believe in his talent and abilities.
Aside from being an exemplary basketball player, Kobe is also a model.
“You have no access to the people my son has access too. The mere fact he was chosen on the team says a lot about where he is. You don’t attend practices or film reviews to know what Tan and Jong asked of him right? Mga naglalaro sa kalye akala basta pag Pinasa bola sayo Tira agad,” added Jackie.
