The whole America entertainment industry and the public is mourning over the passing of Alex Trebek, the long-running host of American quiz show Jeopardy!, last Sunday morning, November 8 (U.S. time).
The American-Canadian host was 80 years old.
On the official Twitter account of the show, Jeopardy! announced their grievance over the loss of such icon and dedicated an episode for the late host.

“Jeopardy! is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends. Thank you, Alex.” it wrote.
As of the moment, it was the pinned post of the page, aside from the tribute post of them and the throwback episodes they uploads to commemorate the celebrity.
“Today we honor Alex Trebek. For over three decades he brought integrity, humor and intelligence to his duties as host of Jeopardy! He will be in our hearts forever.
Thank you, Alex. Love from us all. Purple heart” it wrote on another post.

However, Jeopardy! did not announce the real reason behind Trebek’s death.
On March 2019, the veteran TV host shared that he is fighting from stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
O his interview, he assured his fans that he will survive this challenge and will come back much more stronger.
“Now, normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this.

“And I’m going to keep working and with the love and support of my family and friends—and with the help of your prayers also— I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease.”
Rest in peace, Alex Trebek.
