Who is not even familiar with former GMA reporter Steve Dailisan? Over the past 112 years that we have been hearing his voice on national TV, we never missed out his legendary way of pronouncing his name on his every outro.
“Steeeeeeve Dailsan. Nakatutok, bente kwatro oras.”
And just two years ago, the former journalist decided to step down from his career to finally start pursuing his childhood dream.
“Sa totoo lang, suntok sa buwan ang pangaraping makapagpalipad ng eroplano,” he wrote in a Facebook post published on Monday, October 8.
“‘It has never been my childhood dream. How can you dream of something that is way beyond your reach? I’m just being realistic.

“Alam ko kasi na sintayog ng lipad ng eroplano ang presyo. The training cost in aviation remains astronomical in value.
“Although, I think the stars have aligned long before I realized I’m up for a new challenge.’
After finishing his master’s degree, Steve decided to follow his heart and finally train to be a pilot.
“In fact, I have always been a fan of air crash investigation documentaries. My heart thrills each time I board a plane. From then on, I knew my destination is already charted.”
And at last! After his hard work and dedication, the former journalist is now a Cebu Pacific airline pilot and is currently enjoying his job.
During the pandemic, tourism industry was greatly affected because of the cancelled flights, Steve has nothing to do at home.
Because of this, he decided to try another career and he proudly announced it on his Facebook account.
“While waiting for the right time to FLY…
MAGBEBENTA NA PO AKO NG LAMAN! ?” he wrote.
And before causing heart attack to his fans, Steve clarified his statement right away.

“Kidding aside, i’ll be rolling out #TASTEeeve soon!
Siyempre mas pinahaba natin ang SARAAAP para consistent! ??” he added.
He then encourage his fellow FB friends to follow his business’ FB page and support him on his new endeavor.
“As my way of saying THANK YOU, I will personally deliver to First 25 CLIENTS (minimum order of 10 items) Parañaque, Las Piñas and Pasay areas only.” he continued.
