Fans are stunned after Kapamilya artists and good friends Julia Barretto and Marco Gumabao admitted something about their past that was long buried in their memory.
In the recent Youtube vlog that Julia uploaded on her channel, she and Marco talked about their friendship and their endeavors that they both shared.
According to the two, they both belong on the same group of friends until eventually, Marco had a huge crush on the younger actress.

But when the actor decided to confess his feelings, he got rejected.
“Wrong timing ako.” he said.
Added him, “Dumaan naman ako sa phase na, yun nga, I liked Julia,
“Wala, bata pa talaga kami noon. Nineteen siya…eighteen. Ako, mga twenty-one lang yata ako noon.”
Julia then butts in, “I told him at that time that I respect his—” but her friend cuts her out.
“Heartbroken kasi siya noon.”

“Yeah. I’d just gotten out of a relationship,” agreed the 23 year old female celeb.
The two did not name drop Julia’s ex boyfriend but tracing back, it could be James Reid.
On 2015, the two were reported dating but both of them neither confirmed or denied their real score.
“Sinabi ko naman sa kanya na, ‘I’m so proud of you, so brave of you to tell me how you feel about me and I appreciate it.’
“Also, really at that time, I wasn’t ready yet.” explained Julia.

But then, Marco was actually thankful that despite of the rejection, the managed to preserve their friendship and did not even through an awkward stage.
“Before, siyempre, lagi kaming magkakasama, every week. Like three times a week, minimum yun.
“Siyempre, mahihirapan kang di ma-attract sa kaibigan mo.” he said.
“Pero thankful din ako na we stayed as friends, because solid talagang kaibigan si Julia.” he added.
