Bea Alonzo finally talks about her opinion about the #BeVico love team that was created by the netizens, the same day after she posted her photo with Pasig mayor Vico Sotto for the documentation of their organization, I am Hope’s program of donating bags and disinfectants for the city.
On her post, she joked, “Hi Mama! Nakilala ko na ang paborito mo! ? Joke!” pertaining about their iconic scene with Coney Reyes, mayor Vico’s mom on their film Four Sisters and a Wedding.
On that particular scene, Bea’s characted bursted out and told her mom, Coney’s role about her favoritism on her kids and how it affected her ever since she was a kid.
Going back on the post, Bea also thanked the people who helped their organization to fulfill their project.
On her recent interview for Vice Ganda’s online show, Gandang Gabi na Vice, Bea talked about her reaction when she and mayor Vico went trending moments after she posted the photo.
At first, Vice, Bea, together with another guest, Angel Locsin were playing the game “Eyes Ganda” where they will guess who’s celebrity eyes will appear on the screen.
At some point, Coney Reyes’ eyes were featured on the game.
“Ay, wait lang, speaking of Coney Reyes, may something ba kayo ni Vico Sotto, Bea?
“Di ba, parang may narinig akong gano’n?” Vice asked.
“Hindi, nagdala lang kami doon ng donation.
“Hiyang-hiya nga ako doon sa mayor dahil sa caption ko siguro, tapos nag-trending.
“Kasi ang kinaption ko, ‘Ma, nakita ko na yung paborito ninyo.’
“Kasi, di ba, iyon yung [scene] ko with Tita Coney? And then, nag-trending.
“Hiyang-hiya talaga ako, para akong nagpapansin tuloy ang dating.” she said.
When asked about her thoughts on mayor Vico, Vice went straight: “Gwapo siya in person, si Vico?”
To which Bea replied with, “Oo, saka ang galing nila doon, as in organized, practice ng social distancing, maayos.”
