Its no wonder that Lovi Poe is one of the most successful and sexiest artist of our generation. Aside from being a great actress, Lovi also has a passion for singing.
Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe grew up away from the hustle and bustle of showbiz industry, for her dad, “Da King” Fernando Poe Jr. never brought her to any of his shoots when she was still young.
When asked whether it was purely his father’s choice, Lovi cleared up that it was her mom, Rowena Moran who does not want her to get exposed in the entertainment world.
Rowena Moran is a former commercial model and actress who had an affair with FPJ while they were working together.
Lovi often shared pictures of her and her mom and sister, Yela to show how affectionate she is towards her favorite people.
And they are as gorgeous as the Hindi Tayo Pwede lead star too!
The actress was in Moran’s care during her childhood years and taught her everything she has to know in life.
According to Moran, it was never her plan to go let Lovi enter showbiz.
On her interview with PEP.ph last 2013, Moran explained her reluctance on her daughter’s decision.
“Yes! I really don’t want. I really don’t want.
“Because, one thing she’s good in her class. She’s very active in school.
“And it’s my dream for her to finish school, because she’s taking Psychology.” She said.
But upon seeing Lovi perseverance and love for her dreams, she eventually let her do it and decided to just support for her eldest’s career.
“Ahm, just behind, just at the backstage lang, fixing her career, assisting her, or supporting her.”
Moran also admitted being nervous the first time Lovi started accepting jobs as an artist.
“At first yes, pero paunti-unti, nasanay na rin ako paunti-unti.”
And if there’s anything she wishes for her daughter, it is nothing but for her to continue doing whatever that makes her happy and pursue her studies.
“I’m still hoping she will finish because that’s what she really wanted also. Yun ang dream niya and her promise to her dad also.”
